JAXF x Island Records x Notting Hill Carnival

With the global pandemic preventing 2020 Notting Hill Carnival from going ahead, BBC Radio’s Jeremiah Asiamah and Island Records in conjunction with Notting Hill Council made it online for the first time. It featured the likes of Sean Paul, Tiwa Savage and Skip Marley and was available to stream on YouTube. The inspiration was old Sound System Carnival flyer designs from the 80s and 90s to give it that nostalgic feel. When you see the flyer online it’s like you’re seeing it posted to a wall in London around carnival season.
