DHL FAB STARS AWARDS

Brief

The task in hand was to create brand identity and marketing material for a new employee initiative award scheme that will be marketed internally.

Staying in line with the current DHL colour palette and create something visually pleasing to the internal customer to show that hard work does get rewarded. The marketing material required would start off on a small scale internally, creating initiatives on a week-to-week basis, then a monthly and quarterly basis, with the recipients of quarterly award winners being showcased on vinyl decals that will be displayed on each DHL Distribution Centre across the Fashion & Beauty network.

Each recipient of this award would go on to be honoured at an annual event, in front of all their peers at a function.

Results

DHL Fashion & Beauty wanted to create an awards programme resembling something like the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the winners. I took inspiration from the Hollywood Walk of Fame branding and put a DHL twist on it. This is shown in some of the certificates and the Walk of the Stars work.

I created a range of printed marketing material from posters, winners boards, certificates for each tier, roll up banners, cue cards, invitations, gift bags and vinyl decal floor stickers, as well as digital material to be presented on TV screens and presentations across the network. Giving it a prestigious feel with a DHL twist on the brand identity. The final result was perfect. It gave the colleagues a sense of self worth and an incentive with a big pay off in the end. With clean looking print material to compliment it.
